Howdy, anyone know how to exclude a group or groups from
the search engine? I tried things like -group but that
didn't work. Would like to do global searches, like "1080P"
for instance but exclude things like "erotica".

thanks

The easiest way to accomplish this is to use our Newsgroups exception
filter that is includes in your preferences,
http://members.easynews.com/2.0/user/prefs?c=s

Here you can add as many groups as you need, separated by a space. This
way you can add more groups as needed and enable/disable the filter
using the "Group Exclusion Preference" check box in the Advanced search.

I hope this helps!
