free download manager

I just started getting "unknown network error" when trying
to download a video from global search using free download
manager....it was working ok a few hours ago...never had
this problem with FDM and I max out my connection with fdm.
I can still right click on the video and download it but
that is one connection and not as fast.
earlier there was a power outtage in my area.

this problem applies only to Easynews as I am able to download with
FDM from youtube.com using FDM with no problem and maxing out connection.
I have it set for 30 connections

Can you provide us with some direct links that you have attempted to
download and received these errors? We are attempting to replicate this
issue but our XP machines are downloading the files via FDM without error.

the above link gives me unknown network error with FDM as do all your secure
links with FDM. please be advised that while in your secure site with firefox
28.0 I can right-click on a video thumbnail and click "save as" and it will
download thru firefox but that is only one connection. I am also going to
change secure ports to see if that helps.

This is exactly the problem I am having. I just assumed it was something to do with the patching of the ssl exploit. See here: "http://support.easynews.com/forum/index.php?started=last&start=0&thread=290394&viewThread=290394"

If you and I can get to the bottom of this issue I'd be most greatful.

It only happens on easynews, other sites and downloads are not affected.

I can right click on the link(video thumbnail) and click save as and it will download thru the secure site.....try that and see if it works.....for me it stopped working yesterday thru Free Download Manager.

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I was
able to download and play that video without issue via FDM. With that
said I had passed your ticket up for review yesterday but it seems now
this is a multi-user issue. I have now opened a master ticket
(ENS-83470) referencing your email, this thread and the other thread
started by louhaven. If you have any further information you would like
to add please submit an email to us and in the subject line include the
